About
I grew up around a small business. My parents ran one, and I saw first-hand how much it takes: the love, the hours, the way it can consume everything. I also saw how easy it is to miss something obvious from the inside, that someone looking in with fresh eyes can spot immediately.
I spent two decades building and fixing complex systems in financial services. But I live in the Cotswolds because I chose to, and I don’t want to keep making money elsewhere and bringing some of it back. I want to build it here.
The businesses that make this place what it is, family-run and generations deep, deserve the same rigour I’d bring to any City boardroom. If we don’t actively back them, the chains win, and something real disappears.
